Tuning
I specialize in performance engine tuning and have many wideband units at his disposal including the new FJO Wideband Analysis System, regarded as one of the finest wide bands on the market. (I use an NTK Oxygen Sensor for tuning, for the utmost precision).
ECU Chipping and Hondata preparation services are available for OBD1 Honda ECU’s: PR4, P61, P75, P28, P72, and (rectangle frame) PR3’s.
I use a Hakko 808 De-soldering Iron to de-solder the motherboard, and to solder in the sockets and resistors I use a Hakko 936 (ESD safe) Soldering Iron Station.

Additional Comments
- Please expect to buy a set of spark plugs when you tune. I have sets available, or you can bring your own.
- Please do not ask me for street tuning only sessions. When the car is somewhat tagged and somewhat legal I will drive the car after a dyno session to make sure the part throttle mixtures and load transfer between gears is good. The loading on the street is slightly better than a dyno for a real world situation, but I would prefer not to risk my life in a high speed street tuning session. Also, you can NOT do accurate ignition timing judgment on the street.
- PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, Check over your car before bringing it to the dyno, I really dislike having to drive to the dyno only to find that you have no oil in your engine due to a severe oil pressure leak, or any number of things that I have seen before.
Tempest Racing has provided a good checklist to follow before coming to the dyno: View Dyno Checklist
